A lamp cannot light another unless & until it continues to burn itself. So, a number of our teachers attended In-service Training Courses  during 2014-15. Our school successfully conducted two spells  of In-service Course for PRTs  in May and December 2014.

Students of our Primary Wing  do not lag behind in any activity. They participated in plethora of activities which were organized at the Vidyalaya.They also participated in various  academic, cultural and sports activities   conducted at Cluster Level.

ANNUAL INSPECTION is a regular feature of KVS. Every year each Vidyalaya is thoroughly inspected by a panel of experts. I am pleased to say that this Vidyalayawas adjudged “outstanding” .

The school received a grant of Rs26 lakhs for the construction ofRamp ,Toilet Block and R.C.C. underground water tank. I feel  pleasure in announcing that all the work has been accomplished and the facilities are in use.

Before I conclude, I would like to appeal to the parents of our students to take more interest in the growth of their children as they are passing through their formative years. Besides meeting us on appointed days-they should feel free in expressing their difficulties during meeting hours on  any day. I shall be pleased to help each one of you. Without your active cooperation we can not draw out the best in your children.

I shall be failing in my duty if I do not mention and appreciate the services of my learned, dedicated and devoted teaching and non-teaching staff members  who are contributing hugely for the attainment of aims and objectives of this school.

Last but not least, I must put it on record that the unstinted support and encouragement  ofhon’bleSh MK Georgekutty and Sh J.M Rawat ,Deputy Commissioner of Chandigarh Region is the pivotal  force in providing guidance to me for the overall development of this school.

This sums up our achievements for the year, but we are aware and conscious that;

“Woods are lovely dark and deep,

But I have promises to keep,

And miles to go before I sleep,

And miles to go before I sleep”
